lol you would say Brave is awesome if it had 50 spins.
It's going to go up this week anyway. She just has to officialy annonce that it's the new single if it's the new single so radio would play it before it goes for adds. Like for Britney Break the ice was first annonced, Radio started to play it more now Jive changed there mind and Piece of me is the new single. Break the ice is going down and Piece of me Up. |

Radio are playing a lot of tracks from blackout coz they have more hype and break the ice is still gaining spins. Piece of me has always been the most played
by radio. Brave needs promo and a good video i dont see it gettin promo so its probs guna be a small hit with radio. Its hard to tell coz i thort do it well
was quite radio friendly but they didnt touch it much. Ile be glad to see a video for brave its sumat different for jen.

Guys remember that only 2 stations was playing BRAVE before the official release, that's the reason of the huge fall!!
But now sony annunces this like the 2nd single, so wait till SONY send the cd-promo to the RADIO to increase the plays !!!! |

I got to listen to her entire C.D, and the song, Brave is my favorite. I think the public likes songs they can personally relate to. I love the lyrics, but I
would've like a different background music. Honestly, I'm completely dumbfounded at the amount of CD's she has sold for this album. as well as the
horrible radio reception she's been receiving. I think this is one of her best, and I just don't get it, keeping in mind all her sales from her
previous album. It's almost as if there's some sort of conspiracy against her in the music industry. Either that, or a pregnant, married, happily-ever
after Jennifer just isn't interesting to the public anymore. Maybe the public always bought more into her story than into her music. I still like it
nonetheless and thought she did a great job. Good for Jen for keepin' her head up. She will prevail...eventually.

The first week sales of Brave were very low, considered to her other English albums which would always debut with high 200,000 in the U.S. and 300,000-400,000 World Wide. The album sold more than 101,000 worldwide including the 53,000 in the U.S., which was very disapointing for Epic Records which had invested a lot in promoting the release of the album. The second week, the album sales were also very weak with a 62,000. Bringing the total to 163,000 worldwide with the 75,000 in the U.S. In the third week, the album was still declining and gathered sales of 41,000 worldwide, a 30% drop. It brings the total to 240,000 including Mediabase.
