Other than Britneys performance I am really underwhelmed. Chris Brown needs to be more original and stop copying Michael Jackson. And the whole show looks
unorganized. Wheres all the surprises like past years. Wish Madonna and J.Lo were there to perform. They always spice things up.

Okay after watching Brit's perfromance again it wasn't as bad as I originally thought. My mom watched it and said it just looked like she was nervous. I can't believe she just had 2 babies and her body looks that sexy. The VMA performances are more like MTV Unplugged rather than an award show. And I agree the performances are too short and not over the top which the VMA's are known for. BeyonceForever03 don't worry I don't think the performance was that bad either. People are always going to disagree in these forums. We just need to
respect everyones opinions. Laugh it off.

My opinion about the VMA's 2007:
* Rihanna won the monster single of the year- yayyy! I love Rihanna and I'm so happy that she won! * Justin won the Quadruple Threat of the Year- I was sure he'll take it! * Beyonce & Shakira won the Best Collaboration- yayy! I wanted those girls to take the award! * Justin won the male artist of the year- honestly, it was kind of predicted lol. * Fergie won the Female of the year- over here I was a bit surprise, because I thoght that Beyonce or Rihanna will take the award but good for Fergie! I like her music too... * Fall Out Boy won Best group of the year- bummer, I love Linkin Park. * Gym Class Heroes won Best new artist- also a bummer. I wanted Carrie Underwood! * Rihanna won Video of the year- and ones again- yayyyy, LOVE her! btw- - I loved Nicole Scherzinger performance for her single 'Whatever U Like' it was super hot! - The opening show by Britney Spears was so horrible! she didn't move and she could'nt even do the playback good. - Kanye West was hot together with 50 Cent and also Justin Timberlake. - And the performance by Chris Brown was the hottest! I mean the dancing and Rihanna of cours! lol Because I think that the best performance was at the end of the show bu Nelly Furtado[She did an amazing job!], Timbaland[smocking hot] and Justin! |

 I'm not gonna even go there with Britney.
-Chris Brown killed it on stage! I have to give him props on his dancing. -Rihanna's vocals have improved a whole lot. She don't sound nervous and shaky like she used to. -Timbaland, JT, Nelly, and Keri were great...that whole performance. Oh and I wish they would've did more of "Crank Dat Soulja Boy", I love dancing to that. "YOULLLL!!"

After watching Britney's performance I say to myself "What was the point of her performance?" I mean, REALLY? I can understand lip syncing if you
do it because of the delicate but hard dance routine but she didn't do anything worth her mouthing along to the words. She moved her arms here and
there...oh wait, she also shook her hips for a bit. Yup, that was basically it. I could have done her exact routine and I could have sang it at the same time.
And I have NO TALENT in either department. It sucks because a lot of Britney fans were expecting something great or at least a lot of dancing. This performance
sucked big time. My respect for singers who lip sync but dance their ass off has shot WAY up because of this horrible performance.

Britney threatened to ditch her VMA performance just minutes before she took the stage. Want to know why? Britney overheard Sarah Silverman rehearsing her monologue in which she calls Britney's babies mistakes and takes jab after jab at Britney. Britney made it very clear with MTV that Sarah was NOT allowed to talk about her kids, and MTV agreed. That big-mouthed bitch said it anyway. Sam Lufti was overheard backstage screaming at Sarah Silverman because of her outrageous remarks saying: "Sarah Silverman is a seriously unprofessional person to make fun of infants to get a laugh. Making fun of kids is not condonable," and that "she should have picked on someone her own size." ---------------- I didnt like that she said that about her kids though.. |
