^ i think that he was busy filming a movie, AUL was pushdback at least 3 times so i don't think that all the actors had to do promo, Robert Redford
wasn't at the Premiere either and he has the leading role and he also did just a couple of radio and web interview for the movie, only Jen and Morgan
Freeman did TV promo, and Morgan Freeman also did some promo in europe, (at least he did in France, he was at the Deauville premiere with Damian Lewis).
And Josh Lucas did blog about it when he was filming the movie he said that it was one of the best film set he had ever been in.

I didnt know that, but still I dont get it why there was limited release of AUL?
because AUL was one of the 10 movie caught in the middle of the Weinsten/Disney/Miramax separation, that's why it got pushedback several time, they
just agreed to release the 10 movies they still had between August and September 2005, and all in limited released to end their collaboration.
There was a limited release because Miramax, created by The Weinstein brothers, is owned by Disney. I don't remember all the details now, since it was so
long ago, but there was a big split. The Weinsteins wanted to leave Disney, but they had to leave Miramax and their slate of movies behind. Because of all the
negotiations and fighting, the movies were shelved. Right before the end of their deal, they had to release the movies. AUL was one of those that had to be
released before they left. Miramax didn't have money to promote them and so that's why it went down that way.
^yeah, it is shame, couse AUL is great movie
thanks for informations, I didnt know that at all. I was convinced that they did it for the same reason as Gigli. I never thought that separation is an issue,
I was like if movie has limited release is why it is bad movie
